The foundation for any guitar to  play it's best is level frets, so that action can be set however you like it without buzzes or choking.   

Whether a first step for a brand new guitar (very few manufacturers do it at the factory) or to rejuvenate a worn guitar, my Fret Dress

process will bring your guitar back to its best and incudes:

• Neck straightened
• Frets levelled
• Frets re-crowned
• Fret ends dressed
• Frets polished 
• Full Set Up

Refrets with new frets start from £200 but can have many variables (binding, finished maple boards, stainless steel frets, Gibson nibs, etc)   so please call to discuss your requirements

I can do most jobs on an electric or acoustic guitar or bass, and will be happy to discuss whatever you have in mind.  Typical work I do includes:

• Rewiring
• Pickup Replacement
• Pot, Switch or jack replacement
• Nut replacement
• Fitting new or upgraded components
• Replacing Nuts
• Partscaster assembly

Please note I do not currently have the facilities to do major refinish work.

I work off a minimum charge of £25 then £25 per hour thereafter plus the cost of any parts or materials
